My husband is an entrepreneur who passionately follows and laud the story of budding startups and it’s very typical of him to be aquatinted with startups like PUREEARTH. He knew his wife is a beauty enthusiast and would love to review such a product on her blog, therefore, he became the source for this product review but before reviewing any product on my blog I make sure about the authenticity and credibility of the company first, hence I initiated the research and found substantial reasons to review the PUREEARTH i.e;

  • PUREEARTH is the advocate of conscious consumption and eco friendly products.
  • They support income generation programs to resource poor women and grassroots farmers in India.
  • They have been the part of Elle India’s Oprah Winfrey cover shoot in Dec 2018. It was the only beauty brand included in the curated gifts presented to Oprah by representing the best of India.
  • The founder has an impressive portfolio to support the ideology of the company.

Packaging:

I love the packaging of the product. It’s a leak-proof screw cap jar made of French violet glass which means it has outstanding preservation capabilities. The jar is so tiny that it hardly takes up any space and can be perfectly carried even in the smallest clutch. I would love to save this jar for my travelling kit for sure.

What I love the most about this company is that, they have a recycling program under a zero-waste motto where they collect the empty bottles and jar from your doorstep and in return plant a tree for a greener Earth for greener business practices…Nicely thought:)

DSC_1381 copyMy Experience With PUREEARTH:

PUREEARTH is super expensive and to buy a large quantity without any prior experience with the brand was questionable for me so I decided to test the small quantity (15 ml/0.51 OZ) of “Rose & Seabuck” face cream. I bought the product straight from their website and it got delivered within a week with a handwritten note. They sure know how to keep their customer happy 🙂

The product has a balanced consistency that is not very thick or runny, thus makes it easy to apply and get absorbed easily. A tiny amount of product is sufficient to cover the face but it’s only 15ml so I doubt it will last for a month. A major function of this cream is to provide a subtle glow with enough nourishment for the whole day without making your face look greasy or sticky and can be used with foundation or sunscreen with no discomfort at all. This review is based on the rainy season and I can’t promise the same results in summer because some people tend to sweat a lot in the summer and I doubt this will be a good choice for them during that period but someone like me who never sweat in any season should be totally fine.

DSC_1326copyPros:

  • 100% Natural and organic.
  • Non-greasy/ Lightweight
  • Good hydration
  • Get absorbed quickly
  • Easy to carry while traveling.
  • Leakproof packaging.
  • Eco-Friendly Product with social welfare & recycling programs.
  • Suitable for dry skin
  • Available online

Cons:

  • Super expensive
  • Not available at stores for now

Conclusion:

I tried differentiating PUREEARTH by looking at their designer website but somehow it couldn’t convince me to spend a hefty amount on the product because I feel the product is almost similar to other comparatively less expensive brands like Kama Ayurveda and Forrest Essentials . No doubt it’s a decent, natural and eco-friendly product but it’s way too expensive for daily use unless you have the power to splurge. Other ethical companies like Kama Ayurveda and Forest Essentials provides an equivalent or better result without compromising on quality. So my final conclusion is that I may review the other products from PUREEARTH but can’t buy this as my substitute for sure because I couldn’t find exceptionally magical properties in this product except a good hydration quality which I can easily find in other less expensive, organic, and nature-friendly brands available in the market.

This review is purely based on my personal experience thus, no offense if this contradicts your opinion.

Finally, it’s time to say goodbye but before I go I would like to mention the Kronokare hand lotion review, it’s an Indo-French brand you might want to check out.

I always remind you guys to follow me on Instagram. I may not look like a “picture-perfect blogger” on my Insta but I promise my reviews are unbiased and true!!

Till my next post goodbye & Thank You 🙂
