Re’equil Ceramide & Hyaluronic Acid Moisturiser

I recently encountered a brand called Re’equil while searching the best hyaluronic acid and ceramide moisturisers available in India. First I was a little sceptic to give it a chance as I never heard Re’equil before but it was an excellent opportunity to review a young brand so I jumped at it. Those who are unaware about these superheroic ingredients – Hyaluronic acid (HA) and ceramides are naturally found in our body to restore moisture level but due to ageing and aggravating environmental factors, our skin needs additional support to balance it out. Someone with super dry skin like me, hyaluronic acid and ceramides are boon, thus I’m always in a search of rich, thick moisturisers combining with such mighty ingredients like HA, ceramides etc.

Hyaluronic acid & Ceramides by the definition;

Hyaluronic acid, also known as hyaluronan, is a clear, gooey substance that is naturally produced by our body. The largest amounts of it are found in our skin, connective tissue and eyes. Its main function is to retain water to keep our tissues well lubricated and moist. Hyaluronic acid has a variety of uses. Many people take it as a supplement, but it is also used in topical serums, eye drops and injections.

Ceramides are component of the skin barrier, they are lipids (aka fat molecules) that help the skin retain moisture and allow [for] proper function. In other words, ceramides help keep your skin hydrated and feeling soft.

My Experience With Re’equil:

After a few application, I realised why Re’équil products are ranked the top 10 bestsellers on Amazon. This moisturiser amazed me after the first application only.

It has a gooey consistency and feels very light on the skin. A little amount does wonder, Not only it gives an instant glow but also relief from dry and itchy skin without making you look greasy. This moisturiser works for a longer period of time so you don’t need to apply it frequently. Also, Reéquil is much affordable than other brands consisting of the same ingredients which is a huge thumbs up for those who doesn’t fancy a brand. To cut a long story short – It does what it claims without breaking the bank. Now the final question remains, would I buy this moisturiser again? I’ll say, Yes!! Anytime 🙂

Closing Thoughts:

I know it’s suiting my skin really well but when it comes to finding the best Hyaluronic Acid moisturiser,  it depends on your skin type and needs. HA products include multiple molecularly-weighted forms of the substance because each size can penetrate a different dermal layer. So, the more varying in molecular size, the more layers of skin that will benefit. which means, though hyaluronic acid is an invariably beneficial ingredient, someone with super dry skin might want a thick moisturizer with skin-restoring ceramides, while someone with greasy skin would be comfortable with a 100% oil-free gel cream.
